South Elgin Local Sets Out on Mission to Save Lives of People Suffering From Sleep Apnea…For Free
Experts Project There Are 20 Million People Suffering from the Potentially Deadly Effects of Undiagnosed Sleep Apnea
The first annual “Sleep Saves Lives” event is coming to South Elgin on September 12, 2019. An annual outreach project of the International Academy of Sleep, Sleep Saves Lives offers free sleep apnea treatment to patients who fit the required profile for care.
“Millions of Americans suffer from the potentially deadly effects of undiagnosed sleep apnea,” explains Avi Weisfogel, Director of the International Academy of Sleep. “Health is compromised, relationships are ruined and lives are even lost when this disease goes untreated. The Sleep Saves Lives initiative is our attempt to make a big impact in the lives of those who might not otherwise be able to afford the simple but powerful treatments that are now available.”
The Sleep Saves Lives project is being organized in this area by Dr. Anthony R. Bennardo who will manage and direct the planning, preparation and presentation of the event.
To schedule an interview or get more information, call 847.888.8311 during business hours.

Digital Impression Scanner
After many, many hours of research and sales calls, we finally decided to purchase a Digital Impression Scanner! This scanner will take the place of traditional "goopy" impressions needed to record a patient's teeth and bite. We spent the day taking turns with the scanning wand and Dr. Bennardo even got to play the patient! We all agree that this is MUCH better than traditional impressions!

Free Screening Fridays
Join us for a FREE Sleep Screening and Evaluation!
Sleep Apnea and the signs and symptoms associated with it are widely overlooked in the healthcare field. So just as the dentist is the primary screener for oral cancer, there are many signs and conditions in the mouth which can help us recognize a patient that is at a higher risk for a sleep disorder.
Studies show that Sleep Related Fatigue costs US businesses an estimated $150 BILLION a year due to absenteeism, workplace accidents and lost productivity.
Call the office with any questions and we hope to see you there!
